This is one of the first years since we moved out of our parents' house – can't believe it's been almost 10 years! – that I haven't moved during the summer. In college, we moved every year, and after moving to LA, I feel like I've had a different home (in generally the same neighborhood) every summer. However, this year was different. Nick and I love our place so much, we re-signed the lease! We have so many happy memories here – including raising Cooper! – that we're excited to stay put until we can hopefully buy something in the near-ish future.
