Emerald City Home Décor Inspiration

I'm typically a lover of blues when it comes to home décor hues, but one color that's becoming one of my go-to favorites is emerald. It complements a variety of styles – from glam, to mid-century modern, to eclectic, to rustic, to modern, and more – and perhaps that's because the shade works well with a bold black, white & gold color palette as well as a variety of organic and modern woods.

If you're looking to incorporate emerald into your bedroom, living room, or dining room design, you can do so in either a bold or subtle way. Make a statement with a velvet emerald headboard, dining chairs, or a sofa, or choose to add in smaller emerald elements by way of pillows, accessories, benches, and rugs.

Take a look at some of my favorite emerald pieces, below!

What do you think of this bold hue? It's perfect to decorate with around the holidays and also works well year-round! Just like greenery in nature, the color balances well with other hues – especially jewel tones.
