Delicious Game Day Snacks for Super Bowl Sunday
The Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots are facing off in Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, Georgia this Sunday, February 3rd. While we do enjoy a good football game (GO RAMS!), it's the thought of everyone coming together & sharing fun, food, and plenty of beer that we really love.
We’ve rounded up our favorite game-day recipes that we are either dying to try or have tried & loved. Most are vegetarian, but feel free to substitute as needed. Now roll up your sleeves, grab a beer & get cooking! Even if you’re not going to a Super Bowl viewing party, you can enjoy these snacks from the comfort of your own couch. 1. Mexican 7-Layer Dip from Love & Olive Oil
This recipe from Love & Olive Oil includes chorizo as one of the seven main ingredients, but feel free to use soyrizo if you’re a vegetarian. Or for the best of both worlds, do half & half!
2. Slow Cooker Spinach Artichoke Dip from Damn Delicious
We LOVE spinach artichoke dip. We especially love it when the prep is as easy as throwing ingredients in a slow cooker. The slow cooker also helps the artichoke leaves get nice & tender!
3. Best Guacamole Recipe from What's Gaby Cooking
It wasn't long ago that we had a false belief that we were allergic to avocados (don't ask), but thankfully we're not because guacamole is one of our favorite snacks any day of the week. This recipe from What's Gaby Cooking is our tried-and-true snack for game day! Don’t be afraid to add in more spice or other ingredients you love to make it your own.
4. Crispy Fried Ravioli from The Chunky Chef
One of our favorite & fun Italian restaurants in Arizona is Oregano’s & we always used to get their delicious toasted ravioli as an appetizer. We were thrilled to find this recipe from The Chunky Chef to satisfy our fried ravioli cravings!
5. Fried Mac-and-Cheese Balls from Foodie Crush
We LOVE the Trader Joe's mac & cheese balls (among many other appetizers), but we've always wanted to make our own for game day. These tasty pops of heaven from Foodie Crush have a potato chip crust, which sounds amazing! Consider adding the Buffalo Bleu Kettle Chips for a little kick. We’re also dying to try this recipe from Damn Delicious.
6. French Onion Dip from The Kitchn
We’re never ones to say "Ooo I hope they have onion dip there!" when we go to a party or out to eat, but somehow, whenever it's in front of us, we can't stop eating it. We definitely want to add this healthy take on the recipe from The Kitchn to our list of must-try recipes for game day, or just for a weekend snack.
7. Life-Changing Queso Dip from Recipe Tin Eats
What could be better than cheese? Hot, melted cheese with delicious spices & crispy chips dipped into it. We can't wait to try this recipe from Recipe Tin Eats to see if it really is life changing!

We love jalapeños, jalapeño poppers & warm, bubbling dip. This jalapeño popper dip has all of the ingredients for the perfect game day snack – including tangy feta to add an extra level of flavor. We’re SO excited to try this one! We just hope we don’t burn the roof of our mouths in doing so…
10. Fried buffalo Goat Cheese Balls from HALF BAKED HARVEST
This new recipe from Half Baked Harvest features a trio of deliciousness: buffalo sauce, goat cheese & fried food. We are so excited to try this out & we have a feeling it will be good enough to add into our game night or Bachelor night get-togethers.
