A Nature-Inspired Modern + Vintage Cozy Abode
Lately we’ve been loving neutral spaces that blend modern & vintage pieces with cozy textures and natural materials & greenery to create a sophisticated, timeless home. So when we stumbled upon this project by JDP Interiors, we instantly fell in love. It feels fresh, relaxed, airy, grown up, and comforting & really just gives us the feeling that we walked right into a Nancy Meyers film (we’ll always love Meryl Streep's home in It's Complicated & Diane Keaton's abode in Something's Gotta Give)… and we never want to leave.
It's said that the key to perfecting your home décor is to mix old with new & high with low. This serene design features all of those elements, which is why it's a little bit classic & a little bit eclectic for a perfect balance that feels unique & interesting – despite the lack of color. We’re drawn to the textured jute rugs & woven dining chairs, the soft pillows & throws, and the organic wood tables mixed with brass hardware, fresh greenery, and contrasting pops of black in the accessories and finishes of the space.
