Our Favorite Faux Flowers, Plants & Trees for Your Home
There’s nothing like decorating your home with fresh flowers and greenery; however, it’s not always an option to have live plants in your abode. Whether your space has low light but you love a plant that thrives with sunlight… or you just don’t have a green thumb, it’s often a necessity to incorporate faux flowers, plants, and trees in your living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, etc. Thankfully, the faux options on the market today are SO much better than they once were, so you can at last have a faux piece as a focal point in your home without giving your guests the vibe of a doctor’s office waiting room.
We constantly hear from our clients that they want to incorporate plants, flowers, and trees into their décor, but they don’t always want to spend their precious time taking care of them and watering them daily or even weekly. Whether you’re always traveling for work and don’t want to come home to a dead orchid, or you’ve tried nurturing a fiddle leaf fig tree in the past with no luck, we’ve pulled together some of the faux botanicals our clients have purchased and loved. For less-life-like options, we recommend placing them higher up or in a less-conspicuous area (ex. on a bookcase or in a lesser-used corner) – and you can always mix faux plants with fresh flowers from the market (or Trader Joes, our favorite place to grab inexpensive blooms!).
