Our Favorites from Leanne Ford's Collection for Crate & Barrel

Interior designer Leanne Ford is known for a white-on-white signature design with a modern, yet lived-in, aesthetic. Splitting her time between her hometown in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the Santa Monica mountains near Los Angeles (where she’s renovating an expansive log cabin for herself, her husband and their daughter), the designer creates casual, crisp spaces across the country – including Los Angeles and New York – that are elevated, yet laid-back.

Last month, the designer revealed her exclusive partnership with Crate and Barrel in order to bring her cool, effortless vibe to homes across the country and the world. The curated furniture and accessory collection features a sofa, bed, and nightstand, as well as a bench and chairs, storage cabinets, accent tables, and décor – all of which are designed in neutral hues of white, light wood, and charcoal. “Whether it’s a vase, or a pillow, or a candle, or a basket... it has to have soul,” Ford tells Crate & Barrel in this exclusive interview. “It should look like it could tell a good story. And the lines are important – I like simple things with a sense of proportion but slightly off balance, the right mix of beauty and purposefulness.”

I wanted these pieces to be around forever. The more they’re lived with, the better they get.

“EVER” SLIPCOVERED SOFA - Starting at $2,299

There's nothing we love more than a white sofa – and if you're afraid of white even with a stain-repellent slipcover, don't worry - it comes in other fabrics as well! This piece is relaxed, yet refined & is the perfect place for a weekend nap or casual movie night.

“FIELDS” CANE-BACK WHITE ACCENT CHAIR - $999

We love cane, rattan & natural details, and this stunning accent chair is, of course, included in that adoration. The curves offer a retro aesthetic we love & the upholstered seat and back ensure it's just as comfortable as it is stylish.

“Tom” three-legged coffee table in charcoal - $1,599

We’ve been watching The Goop Lab on Netflix & this coffee table (which also comes in a blonde wood) reminds us of the piece in Goop’s Santa Monica headquarters. It’s strong, bold, and sleek – just the right table to collect cheese boards & coasters for a wine night with friends.

“Riki” Black-Footed Bowl - $80

Whether used as a centerpiece, an accessory to add to your #shelfie, or a literal bowl on the kitchen counter for fruit, nuts, or snacks, these footed bowls are stunning ceramic accents that offer both form and function.

“Fields” Natural Storage Cabinet - $2,199

What do you get when you blend white oak, retro cane, and gorgeous curves? This incredible storage cabinet that will beautifully hold dinnerware, books, or collectibles in a work of art that's a wonderful conversation-starter.

“Primitive” Cityscape print - $800

Artist Alexandra Valenti's framed giclée print balances simple shapes for a minimalist design that will work just as wonderfully in a bedroom or living room as it will in a bathroom or entryway.

“Williams” Chair - $1,199

This show-stopper featuring super-slim legs, a well-cushioned seat and arms, and unique curved shape mixed with sleek lines will add a dramatic touch to any neutral living space.

“West” Natural Cane Bar Cabinet - $1,999

Imagine having friends over & opening this gorgeous natural cane bar cabinet to grab your favorite wine or libations... we love the natural cane look, but it also comes in a charcoal finish to add a bit of drama to your space.

“Levon” carved Wood Floor Mirror - $999

Need to fill a corner? Consider positioning this Old World-inspired floor mirror against the wall with a plant or pouf next to it. We love the understated, vintage vibe of this piece – it definitely gives us the feeling of having a glass of wine or martini in a Parisian pied-à-terre.

“Pacific” Natural Wood Coffee Table - $1,599

This white oak coffee table is a minimalist's dream! It feels sturdy, sleek, and stylish all at once – we just love the casual design with elegant curves that will beautifully offset either a classic or modern sofa with clean lines.

“Annie” Charcoal Storage Cabinet - $1,699

Leanne Ford is back with the curves for this curio cabinet, ideal for storing linens, china, or curiosities and collectibles. We love the clean lines, sleek curves, and dark finish for a pop of boldness in any space.

“Canyon” Arched Canopy BEd - Starting at $1,799

This stunning curved canopy bed is perfect for those who want the look of a canopy without feeling like they're in a boxy cage. It's a modern statement piece that would look just absolutely gorgeous in a room featuring high ceilings.

“Lyon” Bench - $999

This minimalist bench looks comfortable enough to take a nap on – we love the stain-repellent white fabric & would incorporate this piece at the foot of a bed or even in a living room as additional seating.

“Cortez” Floating Nightstand in Charcoal - $599

Minimalists will also love this curved wood nightstand (it also comes in a white oak finish) that offers a sleek storage drawer. It's functional, yet it also looks like a work of art.

“Plain Weave” Throw in Sand - $100

This textured 55" x 70" throw in a creamy, sandy hue can be draped at the end of the bed, placed on a sofa or bench, or fall gracefully out of a storage basket in a corner for cozy nights in.

“Brutalist” vases in Black & White - $60

The perfect addition to a bookshelf, console table, or dining table, these vases are inspired by the Brutalist architecture and interior design movement of the mid-20th century. We love the bold geometric look on its own or with some added foliage!
