A Modern-Fresh Neutral Abode with a Pop of Boho Color in Seattle
We’re big fans of Kate Marker Interiors – her classic style with a fresh, modern feel brings us so much joy and influences so many of our designs… and she even has her own curated shop: Kate Marker Home. We love how she can add a city-style chicness to a space, while also incorporating more relaxed, boho-inspired elements with some color. She’s extremely versatile & all of her work has a cohesive look, while always remaining unique to each client! While she’s based in Illinois, her Dogwood Project in the Seattle area is one of our absolute favorites – you’ve probably seen the photos on Instagram via #tonewheightsclient!
We’re sharing a few noteworthy images from the Dogwood Project to help inspire your own abode, below. We love how each space feels connected, yet every room has its own personality. The entry is relaxed and minimalist, yet modern-boho chic. The formal living room features nice contrast between a leather sofa & velvet chairs with brass legs, with some natural wood features mixing beautifully with abstract art and well-curated pillow patterns. The kitchen in the open-concept room is clean & crisp with a waterfall countertop, gold-and-acrylic counter stools, a vintage runner, and light wood accents. The next living space offers a completely different vibe – a bar cart and piano provide entertainment options, while the furniture showcases woven elements, a layered jute & vintage rug combo, and a pop of color that we just love!
Take a look at some photos from the space, below, to inspire your own home. We even pulled together some similar pieces to help you shop the look!
